What is the School Advisory Council (SAC)?
SAC consists of parent volunteers who work in collaboration with the Principal, school staff and Toronto District School Board (TDSB) representatives to:
-Foster a sense of school community through participation in/organization of events.
-Gather feedback concerning matters of interest related to student achievement and success.
-Sponsor school fundraising activities to enrich and support our children’s education.
What are the benefits?
Attending School Advisory Council meetings is a great way to stay up-to-date on the latest school news and activity. Each meeting includes a Principal’s report, updates from the TDSB and information relevant to school fundraising and events. It’s also a great way to meet fellow parents/guardians of Norman Ingram!
How can I get involved? Council meetings are open to all Norman Ingram parents and guardians. This year meetings are being held virtually, so just show up whenever you can! For those looking to take on more, we are always recruiting volunteers.
Click HERE to reach out by email.
This year, Council meetings will be hosted online via ZOOM. Meeting links will be sent out by the school 1-2 days before each scheduled meeting.
